As the username indicates, this account is was for gnoming. Mostly, it is for reverting old and often embarrassing vandalism that has gone undetected, in some cases for years. I believe this is the single most urgent problem this place has, and wrote an essay on the subject.
Over 1,500 archived talk pages contain undetected vandalism.
