My name is Aaron, and I am a fresman at Georgia Southern University. I recently graduated from high school as an honor student, and I am able to afford college with the help of my parents and the HOPE scholarship. I am here to get my degree in Interior Design. It’s something that I really appreciate and I’ve always had an eye for the details (Now it goes without saying, but Interior Design is VERY different from Interior Decorating, design has more to do with architecture and less with fabrics and colors). When I have time off from school I visit friends and family back in Atlanta, and I work a part-time retail job in the mall. Anything else you might be wondering about me is in these Userboxes.
Without the Internet, Television, DVD, Mp3, and most of all my Blackberry, I would be lost. I am constantly on my phone texting or keeping up with Facebook and emails. Also since so many college courses are online these days it’s crucial to have a fast and cooperative computer; it’s disgusting how much time I spend on the computer. I have this very unoriginal theory that computers are soon going to take over the world, just watch The Terminator.
Wikipedia is a fantastic source of information for everything. Though I only use it to get a brief and general understanding of the topic at hand. For more in depth information and history I refer to text books, or online databases such as Galileo.Oh and I think that contributors should get paid! I know it's a hobby for most people, but I don't know anyone who wouldn’t like some pocket change for the weekends; I know I do!
I am fluent in three languages: good English, bad English, and Spanglish. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be fluent in other languages such as Spanish and French. The thing that holds me back is that I don't like the juvenile projects and assignments. Maybe I should buy "Rosetta Stone" and give that a try, supposedly it's the best online tool for learning to speak another language.
I love movies; old movies, new movies, romantic movies, comedies, it doesn’t matter. When I watch a movie I pay attention to everything. Set design, special effects, acting, story line, message, and music are only a few things I notice. Among many others, Quentin Tarantino is one of my favorite directors because he has such a unique style and perspective. Here’s a list of my top 5 five favorite movies (Disregarding the order):
