Today's motto...
→ I have met them at close of day
Coming with vivid faces
From counter or desk among grey
Eighteenth-century houses.
I have passed with a nod of the head
Or polite meaningless words.

Introduction
editWelcome to this page! I am FateForger. I've created this userpage to explain what I am interested in editing. I am a big fan of hard rock and heavy metal and I am trying to improve the quality of these articles. In the future, I might edit other articles too if I believe I can give some important information. Going back to music, I am big fan of Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Poison, Cinderella, Velvet Revolver, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Queen, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Warrant, Skid Row, Avenged Sevenfold, Bon Jovi, Boston, Def Leppard, Europe, Judas Priest, Kiss, L.A. Guns, Ratt, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Scorpions, Steelheart, The Darkness, Treat, W.A.S.P., FireHouse and many others.
I do not edit Wikipedia often, because I believe there are lots of people who know things better than me. Most of the times I just keep articles clear from vandalism, but I do make some edits now and then. However, there are some things I am trying to change.
One of them is getting links to Robert Christgau's reviews out of the way from articles on hard rock and heavy metal albums, because "Christgau readily admits to disliking the musical genres heavy metal, art rock, progressive rock, bluegrass, gospel, Irish folk, and jazz fusion,[13] but in rare instances has recommended albums in most of these genres." (taken from Wikipedia's article on him). He delivers random "B-" to the best albums and "C" or "E" to many others. "A" are nearly nowhere to be seen (a rare exception is Led Zeppelin IV). Here is an example taken form Guns N' Roses albums: Appetite for Destruction has a diminishing "B-" review, whereas The Spaghetti Incident has an incredible "A-" review. I still have not found a single person who believes The Spaghetti Incident is better than Appetite For Destruction. So, since he is not legit for these genres those links should be deleted. Help me change things by supporting this point.
Secondly, I support people who want to include glam metal in the genres of Def Leppard. I'm not saying it is their main genre, but it should be included as secondary. There is a big discussion on this subject. People who claim they were not glam metal at all say they never wore make-up and glossy clothing. However, glam metal was a musical style and not only a way of dressing up. Def Leppard themselves have claimed they never have been glam, but this does not mean it is true. It is like the case of Lemmy claiming not to be heavy metal but rock n' roll. Some people say they are pop metal. Pop metal would be the perfect definition for Def Leppard, since there are some differences in their musical and visual style which make them not 100% glam metal. The point is that pop metal redirects straight to glam metal because including it in glam just makes things more simple. The song Pour Some Sugar on Me is glam metal more than anything else. Help me change things by supporting this point too.
