The Melanops are a genus of fungi, within the monotypic, family of Melanopsaceae and within the order of Botryosphaeriales, within the class Dothideomycetes.[1] They are plant pathogens.

As of 1 September 2023, the GBIF lists up to 63 species,[2] while Species Fungorum lists about 63 species (out of 195 records).[3] Around 105 species were accepted by Wijayawardene et al. 2020.[1]
