Hero City is a city and Super-hero simulation social network game developed by Paprika Lab Inc. in 2009. Gameplay involves creating the users own city and inhabiting it with various recruited heroes.
It is available as an Adobe Flash application via the social-networking website Facebook. The game is a freemium game, meaning there is no cost to play but players have the option of purchasing premium content. Including extra heroes, energy, weopans etc.
Hero City currently has 767,405 monthly active users and 89,571 daily active users. [1]
Gameplay
editHero City combines city-building gameplay and adds a layer of superhero activity on top. Players build and upgrade structures to improve their cities and then collect superheroes to come live in their city. The more superheroes means more advantages when undertaking the game’s quests, and will also give the players the upper hand in player-vs-player gameplay. See Duel.

editUsers can dispatch super heroes to New York, Washington D.C., Paris, Sydney, Dubai, Madrid, Beijing, London, Las Vegas, Nevada, Athens, and other cities around the world to fight against the super villain 'Techneto' and his evil associates. In each city the hero collects unique objects to be collected for other items.
In Nov 2011, Hero City introduced Heroic Rides. The user could then create cars, planes and bikes for the heroes to travel around in. This also increased the heroes defensive and attacking abilities in Duels. They also allowed the heroes to travel to new Planets 'Nuvi', '7th Heaven Island' and 'City Dystopia'
