Carolyn Williams
A list of characteristics.
0) My husband, user:jimwilliams57, says that all lists should begin with zero. He's into that binary thing. You know, those people who think there are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't. LOL I am married to a brilliant man whom I have been both honored and humbled to share my life with.
1) I was born in Charlotte, NC.
2) I spent my childhood summers and vacations at our summer home at Litchfield Beach, South Carolina. I also spent several weeks each summer at Camp Yonahlossee and Camp Greystone, both in the North Carolina mountains. I had a great childhood!
3) I went to grade school at Charlotte Country Day School.
4) I attended boarding school at Chatham Hall
5) I attended college at Gardner-Webb University.
6) I lived in North Carolina for 33 years, Folsom, California for 4 years and Atlanta, Georgia for 3 years.
7) I have three wonderful children. Child number one lives in Davis, California, he is a senior at California State University Sacramento. He is a golfer and is involved at the California State Capitol as an intern for governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Child number two is a sophomore at Kennesaw State University. She hosts a local television program called "She's Crafty", she is also a physical therapy assistant and was an All-American High School Cheerleader. Child number three is a freshman at Kennesaw State University. He plays rugby for his college and is a member of pi kappa phi [1]. He played football for seven years and holds the 2005 USTF championship position for green and purple belts in the 16-17 age division.
8) I am a post homeschool parent which I am very thankful is over.
9) I am a proud mother and of all the accomplishments in my life, none have meaning next to this one.
10) I have two step-daughters. Step-daughter number one graduated from the University of Oklahoma and is employed in Austin, Texas. Step-daughter number two is in high school in Rochester, New York.
11) I enjoy blogging, photography, gardening and cooking.
12) I love dogs! I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Whitman.
13) My greatest wish in life is that Jim and I will be happy together the rest of our lives and that we will both be fulfilled by the journey. And even greater is the wish that I will never have to bury one of my children.
