I'm a cofounder of and researcher at the Foundational Research Institute. I also created the website Essays On Reducing Suffering.
I graduated from Swarthmore College in 2009, where I studied computer science, mathematics, statistics, and economics and published a few papers on machine learning and international trade. From 2009-2013, I worked in the relevance division of the Bing search engine at Microsoft. I built end-to-end three of Bing's production ranking models, which served over 5 billion searches on Bing and Yahoo every month.
I'm currently located near Albany, New York, USA. Feel free to get in touch using the contact information on my personal home page.
