Elizabeth May is a Californian-born author of fantasy and romance who also writes under the name Kristina Kendrick.

Career

May is a professional photographer who has worked for a number of magazines and publishing houses. In 2013, her first fantasy novel, The Falconer, was published by Gollancz.

In 2015, she collaborated with Laura Lam to write a fantasy duology, The Seven Devils,[1] originally conceived by May as "Mad Max: Fury Road, in space." The pair, both published authors, became friends after meeting at a book event in 2013.[2] Lam was a creative writing lecturer at Edinburgh’s Napier University at the time, and May had first come to Scotland to study for a PhD in anthropology at St Andrews University.[2]

May is currently living in Scotland with her husband.[3]
