Yofizz!
editI saw your question on his talk page. Yes, generally we give people 4 warnings, and different people have different opinions on this. But in this case, it's clear (to me) that the account was only created for a vandalism spree. Edits were vandalism, not test edits, and there is a vandalism page he created that I deleted that you can't see. Used my judgement. Perhaps there's a 0.5% chance he can reform. If so, he'll ask for an unblock. If he does, I'll give him the option of using {{second chance}}. But there's no sense (in my opinion, other people differ) to wait until he's had 15 minutes of disruption before we give him a strong hint that he can't keep it up. --barneca (talk) 15:53, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- Okay thanks, I'm still learning you see. User:Agent008
- Other admins and editors would likely have given him another 1-2 warnings, so I don't want you to think my block was really truly standard practice. Anyway, good to have people keeping an eye out, it keeps me honest. --barneca (talk) 15:56, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- Alright see you around!! User:Agent008

You Do Know!
editYou know you can write something out as a page, but have it say something else? I saw you on a discussion page (this one), where you wrote your name out as User:Agent008. You just have to put a "|" sign after the page then you can write whatever you want after it. I'm sure that was an old talk page, and you didn't know then, but I'm just making sure. The cow says MOO!!!
- Alrught, I'll keep that in mind but I prefer to write my name like User:Agent008. User:Agent008
June 2009 Edits!
editPlease do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to User:BJBot. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Rmosler | ● 12:54, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but that guy is really starting to piss me off, but I have warned him not to touch my userpage so I will do it everytime he removes the image on my userpage. User:Agent008
- Firstly, it's a bot: automated. Shouting at it will achieve absolutely nothing. Secondly, its edits are correct, per Wikipedia's obligations regarding non-free content criteria. You must not use non-free images in userspace and I must warn you that continuing to use them will result in a negative outcome for you (as it is essentially copyright theft, which Wikipedians take very seriously). Please remain calm and civil and remove the images from all pages in your userspace, and we shall say no more about it. Thank you. - Jarry1250 [ humourous – discuss ] 13:33, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- Also, please date your contributions by signing them with four tildes (~~~~. You can customise your signature to look like User:Agent008, but you need to sign properly to get a date. More about that at WP:SIG. - Jarry1250 [ humourous – discuss ] 13:36, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- I will get rid of the infobox with the image then and by the way I sign my contibutions properly when I feel like it. User:Agent008
- Yeah sorry about the aggressiveness I was starting to get annoyed by him, but it is now water under the bridge so I apologise for it, it will not happen again hopefully. User:Agent008
- No problem. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I would strongly recommend you get into the routine of signing your posts with the four tildes; not doing so may attract attention in future. - Jarry1250 [ humourous – discuss ] 19:02, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

- I better go read the policies and guidelines a bit more then as well. User:Agent008 19:08, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- You can go read the policies and guidelines, but you can't turn into a puppet of the administrators. If you do, Wicoupedia may happen. AND I WON'T SIGN WITH FOUR TILDES! Maildiver
- Sure that will happen! User:Agent008
- It is in progress. : Maildiver

Hey there Agent008, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Agent008/Agent008's Personal SandBox. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.
- See a log of files removed today here.
- Shut off the bot here.
- Report errors here.
Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:01, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- Erm, normally I would not allow; but if the rules say so, then thanks anyway; I will clear my page now, as I do not need it! User:Agent008
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled. On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note. Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:07, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, hello there; thank you for letting me know this guys, this is good to know! User:Agent008
