Tyler Booker (born April 12, 2004)[1] is an American football offensive guard for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Early life
editBooker grew up in Connecticut, attending St. Luke’s School in New Canaan before attending high school at IMG Academy in Florida. Coming out of high school, Booker was rated as a four star recruit and the number 39 overall prospect.[2] Booker also held offers from schools such as Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State.[3] Booker ultimately decided to commit to play college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide.[4][5][6]
College career
editDuring Booker's freshman season in 2022, he played in 12 games making one start.[7][8] Heading into the 2023 season, Booker was named a preseason first-team All-American.[9] In week four of the 2023 season, Booker was named the SEC offensive lineman of the week for his performance in a win over Ole Miss.[10] During the 2023 season, Booker played in and started in 12 games for Alabama, allowing just two sacks and four pressures on the year.[11] For his performance on the 2023 season, Booker was named second team all SEC.[12]
