"Truck Drivin' Man" is a "honky tonk strut" written by Edward King and Ronnie Van Zant and recorded by American southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1973 as a demo song.[1] It was released posthumously on 5 October 1987 as the sixth track (or first track on side 2) on the 1987 compilation album Legend. It was released as the B-side to the single "When You Got Good Friends" in November 1987.[2] The song was subsequently included on Skynyrd's Innyrds in 1989 and in the 1991 Lynyrd Skynyrd box set.
