History
editIn October 2022, Business Standard reported that Reliance Retail was planning to launch a beauty platform under the name ‘Tira Beauty’.[7][8] The name tira was inspired by the goddess Rati, who symbolizes love, passion and beauty.[9]
In February 2023, Reliance Retail launched Tira as an e-commerce platform, with an app, a website, and a 4,300 sq ft store at Jio World Drive in Mumbai.[10] The app became operational in over 100 cities.[1][11][2]
In September 2023, South Korean beauty and cosmetics conglomerate Amorepacific Corp formed a partnership with Reliance Retail.[12][13] Tira later added stores in Bangalore, Pune,[14] Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Chennai.[15]
Campaign
editTira launched its first campaign, titled 'For Every You,' with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, and Suhana Khan.[16]
