TMobile as of right now is an active company
editIt will not be defunct until such time that ATT gets regulatory approval for its buy out of tmobile. Listing it as defunct at this time would be an incorrect action to take.Serialjoepsycho (talk) 23:32, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
- As of now, T-Mobile USA is not yet defunct. However AT&T and the parent company of T-Mobile USA has agreed that the former will purchase and acquire the latter, and is currently pending FCC and regulatory approval. According to the Wall Street Journal [1], once the FCC approves the merger, AT&T plans to eventually retire the T-Mobile brand name in the United States, thus T-Mobile may cease to exist as a separate company. This could all happen by 2 or 3 years. —Terrence and Phillip 02:14, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
AT&T purchase has not been done yet, to list as such before it is official is premature. Please wait until it is official before making changes such as this. --98.155.75.155 (talk) 06:26, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
T and p you are talking about future events that may or may not happen. That is speculation. Right now all that has happened is that ATT agreed to acquire tbomile for 39 million. That's it. Nothing else. They haven't done away with tmobile. They haven't gained the ability to own tmobile yet. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball.Serialjoepsycho (talk) 09:10, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

Should PDV wireless be included? How about Atlantic Tele network?
editPDV is currently in the process of launching a nationwide business centric carrier on SMR 900mhz licenses that they bought from sprint. Should it be included, or should we wait until it is launched before adding it to the template? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.240.60.152 (talk) 03:25, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
- also would one Add Atlantic Tele network to public regional? because Atlantic Tele network operates a wholesale provider called Commnet and a regional provider to US virgin islands and the Arizona region as Choice wireless. So would it be listed as Atlantic Tele network or Choice wireless? 23.240.60.152 (talk) 03:38, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
should there be a list of small rural carriers?
editI found quite a few cellular carriers, but I am not sure if it would be justified to make an article of each one? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.249.17.168 (talk) 21:35, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
Shentel?
editshould shentel be added as a subset of sprint? its a public company that has 1 million subscribers. my understanding is that they don't count as direct sprint customers — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.184.124.146 (talk) 23:53, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
