HTML formatting in the template

edit

@Joeykai: Why did you remove the HTML border parameter in the |titlestyle= field of this template? It belongs there, in order to make the template consistent with other MLB team manager templates. Charlesaaronthompson (talk) 07:04, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Charlesaaronthompson: if color 2 and 3 are the same, then a border is unnecessary and redundant Joeykai (talk) 16:47, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Joeykai: I updated Module:Baseball color/data to ensure that the text color in the |titlestyle= of the template doesn't clash with the HTML color border, making the border necessary. Charlesaaronthompson (talk) 17:38, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Charlesaaronthompson: the Pirates' colors are black and gold. Stop changing them. Joeykai (talk) 18:00, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Joeykai: I'm not changing the HTML color codes; I'm trying to ensure that the colors are easily readable and consistent with other MLB team templates. Charlesaaronthompson (talk) 18:01, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Charlesaaronthompson: The Pirates colors with black and gold have a contrast over 12 and are compliant with WCAG 2 AA Compliant, WCAG 2 AA Compliant (18pt+), WCAG 2 AAA Compliant, and WCAG 2 AAA Compliant (18pt+). They are easily readable. Joeykai (talk) 18:10, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Joeykai: OK, I know the Pirates' colors are black and gold; however, I don't understand why there can't be a color border in all of the Pirates' team templates, especially when all other MLB team templates (except the Kansas City Royals) have HTML color borders. I don't want to edit-war over this. Charlesaaronthompson (talk) 19:59, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
adding a border when the 2 and 3 colors are the same is redundant and unnecessary. Joeykai (talk) 20:24, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
