Category sorting

I don't see any reason to sort in this way rather than this way. We are well beyond the stage where by-occupation categories need to be set apart from the others that will be in every "FOOian people" category. Good Ol’factory ^(talk) 00:25, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Category:Akan people by occupation

Can someone who understands this template please adjust it on Category:Akan people by occupation so that it no longer appears in Category:Akan people? Timrollpickering (talk) 10:32, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

Error behavior

I found some linty markup at Category:People from the Republic of Genoa by occupation that resulted from an empty Nationality parameter, and I copied and expanded the markup to Category:Sandbox/Lint, where the error behavior and its workaround can be seen. The template should be modified to behave gracefully on an empty Nationality parameter, and I put in the Goose example as well to spotlight that to someone who doesn't already know what's going on, usage is not explained very well. —Anomalocaris (talk) 06:55, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
