Template talk:Did you know nominations/Devanahalli Pomello
- There was a question put on my talk about as to where/how the hook was cited. Here are the sources I confirmed:
- Part 1 - "grown only in and around Devanahalli" -- "Devanahalli chakkota is unique to the region and is cultivated in surrounding villages too." also "The number of farmers cultivating the fruit is estimated to be less than 100."[1] Also: "Devanahalli Pomello is particularly grown in 13 villages in Devan ahalli taluk."[2]
- Part 2 - "said to be the largest citrus fruit in the world" -- "Pomello or Chakkota, is the largest sized citrus fruit"[2]
