Usage

This template expands a name to link to the appropriate Madrid Metro station article, without displaying " (Madrid Metro)".

The template can be abbreviated as {{MdM}} (for Metro de Madrid).

For example:

{{MdM|Vista Alegre}} expands to [[Vista Alegre (Madrid Metro)|Vista Alegre]].

Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that Gran Vía is located underneath the Gran Vía.

Many Madrid Metro station articles follow the link form of terminating with "(Madrid Metro)".
