- native_name = Name of the white water course in the local language, if different
- native_name_lang = ISO code for the local language (e.g. "fr" for French). If more than one, enter the native names using

instead. - image = Filename of image of the white water course
- image_size = the width of the image in pixels
- alt = Alt text for bridge image (see WP:ALT)
- caption = Text for caption beneath image
- official_name = Official name
- locale = General area where located (e.g., San Francisco, Indiana-Kentucky State Line)
- road_access = brief details of accessing the site
- maint = Maintaining Entity (e.g., California Department of Transportation)
- designer = Bridge designer
- material = Construction material (concrete, steel, iron, stone, brick, wood)
- managing_agent = The organisation managing the operation of the course on a day-to-day basis
- website = the managing agent's website or webpages
- main_shape = the shape of the longest course, e.g. loop, linear
- loops = the number of loops on the site
- linear = the number of linear courses on the site
- main_length = the length of the main course
- main_width = the width of the main course
- main_drop = the loss in elevation of the main course
- main_slope = the slope of the course expressed as a ratio, e.g. 1:100 or 1%
- adjustable = whether the course is adjustable in any way apart from water volume
- water_source = the source of the water, give the name of any structure or waterway involved
- flowrate = the rate of flow of the water through the course expressed as cubic metres per second
- flow_diversion = is the course supplied with water diverted from some source?
- pumped = is the water pumped around the course, partially, entirely or occasionally
- tidal = is the course's operation limited by the action of the tide?
- class = the difficulty of the course
- water_quality = how is the quality of the water graded regarding pollution and bacteria etc.
- practice_pool = is there a placid practice or warm up pool of users, is this also used as a flat-water course
- surf_wave = is there a continuous wave in a channel that paddlers can use
- lighting = is the course lit in any way for night-time paddling
- heated = is the water heated - as in power station outflows - specify source
- grandstands = are there any grandstands for spectators to stand or sit in?
- canoe_lift = is there a canoe lift for getting canoes back to the start of the course
- facilities = are there any daytime facilities (cafe, toilets, shop) or night-time facilities (camping or caravanning grounds, hotel, cabins etc.) on site?
- construction_dates = when was construction started and complete?
- open = when was the course officially opened?
- upgraded = what year(s) was there a major upgrade to the course
- closed = is the course now closed? - give reason
- coordinates = Latitude and longitude
