Women in Print Conference
- ...
that the first Women in Print Conference was held at a Camp Fire Girls campsite in Omaha, Nebraska?Source: Sinister Wisdom "...the Women in Print Conference was held in Omaha, Nebraska, at a Campfire Girls' campsite in August of 1976", NYT "...secret feminist‐press convention held at a Campfire Girls camp near Omaha, Neb." (Struck after review by Armadillopteryx by nominator ezlev.talk)- ALT1: ... that attending the first Women in Print Conference inspired Carol Seajay to create Feminist Bookstore News? Source: FoundSF "The initial idea for Feminist Bookstore News came out of this conference as a way to stay in touch with each other."
- Comment: This is my first time attempting DYK, grateful for any tips or feedback!
Created by Ezlev (talk). Self-nominated at 21:28, 27 March 2021 (UTC).
- Article is new enough (created 21 March) and long enough (1,550 characters of prose).
- Prose is neutral and contains sufficient sourcing. Earwig returns no copyvio concerns.
- I don't find ALT0 to be particularly interesting, but I think ALT1 is hooky enough. It is of appropriate length, meets the formatting guidelines, and is sourced.
- No QPQ requirement, as this is the nominator's first time at DYK.
- ALT1 is good to go. Armadillopteryx 03:20, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
