Theatre Royal, Southampton
- ... that the Theatre Royal, Southampton (pictured), which Jane Austen visited in 1807, was described in 2013 as having "morphed into a hideous high-rise"? Source: "The old Theatre Royal, once near to the Mediaeval Merchant's House, was a favourite of Jane and her family, and it is known that they attended a production there on September 14, 1807." "City takes great pride in Austen connections", Southern Daily Echo (2006).; "The Theatre Royal, where she saw a pair of plays, has morphed into a hideous high-rise." Z. Smardz, '"Jane Austen's Britain", Washington Post (2013).

- 5x expansion new enough and long enough. Very well cited throughout. NPOV throughout. QPQ done. Image is from 1805, so okay for the front page. Earwig etc found no close paraphrasing, copyright violations or plagiarism. Hook is interesting and cited, but did not quite make sense to me, so have added "in 2013" to make it clearer.
