Illinois Central Railroad No. 790
edit- ... that retired steam locomotive Illinois Central 790 (pictured) was frequently put back into service during floods because any amount of water made the diesel-electric locomotives short out?
- Comment: At this time this article is written entirely from one, public domain source. It is paraphrased and I thought I would take a chance because I think it is a fun hook and the photo is entirely mine.

- In the future, please supply your username everywhere that the template says to put it (otherwise you get "Created/expanded by [[User:|User:]] ([[User talk:|talk]])"), and please bold the name of the article you're nominating. This isn't going to disqualify you; it just makes it somewhat more confusing. Nyttend (talk) 22:32, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, guess I misunderstood the directions, and the semicolon was a typo-did not know what to do. Thanks for your help.--Ishtar456 (talk) 22:38, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- The article is both long enough and new enough. Although it has only one source, this seems reliable to me and the subject is of historical interest. The image is appropriately licensed. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:12, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
