Welcome to DYK reviewing. Please allow to note down a few points here.

The reviewer normally starts writing by replacing the comment, "REPLACE THIS LINE TO WRITE FIRST COMMENT, KEEPING :*" you have started your comments at a place reserved for the nominator. But please don't let this dissuade you in anyway.
"Bibliography" is distinct from "See Also" and should not be merged as per Manual of Style.
Manju is Deepak Dhar's wife. Full name is Manju Dhar but I do not think it is advisable to mention the full name as the omitted part is the surname she received from her husband.
TIFR is Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. I have added the acronym at the first mention of the institute in the article.

Personally, I find this hard to call "hooky". It uses the word "model" 3 times, and the most interesting/unusual thing is the mention of the Abelian sandpile model, which will probably siphon off all the clicks. Yoninah (talk) 14:27, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

I'm not too sure that the article would siphon off all the clicks. I mean, we could always assume, but no one actually knows until it reaches the main page. SL93 (talk) 15:22, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

Reading the sources, they seem to be talking about Dhar solving the Abelian sandpile model. If you fix this in the article, you could write:
