English translation: "In Zagreb's neighbourhood of Trnje, several hundred metres from the mayor's office, residents literally [sic] broke into the premises of Hrvatske vode and raised the dam [sluice gate], thus preventing a greater catastrophe in the city centre during the large flood which inundated the country capital." This article is new enough, and more than long enough. Prefer ALT0 to ALT2 (ALT1 seems an inferior version of ALT2), but all are supported. A slight technicality in that the misdemeanour appears to be resisting police rather than the actual break-in, but the sources establish the resistance occurred during investigations of the break-in.
