The BS overlay text red template places text on a semi-transparent background onto a Route diagram template. It is useful in situations where text would be otherwise unreadable.

Adding either or both of the optional parameters |b
and |i
will bold or italicize the display.
The optional parameter |w=
, or |width=
, sets the width of the red box in ems. The default is 1.5
.
The optional parameter |bg=
, changes the color and opacity of the background. The default is 139,0,0,.8
(RGB color 139,0,0, 80% opacity).
All standard wikitext markup can be used.
Notes
edit- This template only works with {{Routemap}}, not with the deprecated {{BS-map}} RDT formatting.
- The characters !~* must precede the template so that it correctly overlays the icons.
