Ongoing research
editI am setting up a mailing list for ongoing research around Zika virus, Zika fever and Zika virus outbreak (2015–present). So if any questions come up here that need expert input, please ping me or post there directly. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) posted on 4 March 2016 at 11:28, UTC.

Anakinra
editIs this from ScienceDaily an appropriate source, or just considered to be a press release from Johns Hopkins? It looks interesting, and similar research is reported here. I'm not a regular medical editor - just someone with a patient's interest in Anakinra - so will just leave these refs here for someone to expand this article and/or Zika fever or Anakinra if appropriate. Homeopathy
editThe 'treatment' section advertises homeopathy and other dubious alternative medicines as a treatment for Zika virus. This is concerning. 84.221.225.118 (talk) 00:13, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
Why is "Zika virus" italicized?
editI don't think it should be. It isn't written as a single word to indicate a scientific (Latin) name. It seems our other virus articles are inconsistent on this. Toadspike [Talk] 08:39, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
