Not sure Distinguish the tribe, region, and disctrict with separate articles?

edit

Several pages on Wikipedia that link here refer to different things when they mention Yafaʿ. One link may refer to the tribe of Yafaʿ, another may refer to the de facto region, and another refers to Yafaʿ District, Lahij Governorate.

This article is ascribed to two very different categories. Typically, when Yafaʿ is referred to as a place, (what is known as) "the region of Yafaʿ" exceeds the de jure borders of the Yafaʿ District in the Lahij Governorate. This article is linked to references to the Yafa' District but describes both the de facto Yafaʿ region and the history of the tribe, and hardly goes over the the Yafaʿ District except what's contained in the infobox.

Should these distinctions continue to be made in one article (Yafaʿ), or is having one article for the district and another for the tribe more appropriate? Smi623 (talk) 02:33, 4 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Smi623 I agree with splitting the district from this article but the tribe and the region they live in (which is named after them) should be in this article 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 11:45, 4 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
