editHow come there hasn't been a page for YG (rapper) yet? He's been on the radio in Los Angeles and other cities with his song "Toot Em and Boot It"

- You are refering to rapper YG Hootie, two completely different people. STATic message me! 17:10, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Photo in infobox
editHere we go again. Another star sealing the show by being cocky. https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/YG_(rapper)#mediaviewer/File:Yg11.jpg Don't we have a photo of YG and just YG without a second character stealing the show for some photo opportunity? Ideally an infobox picture should feature only the artist himself. Time to replace this photo with one of YG alone werldwayd (talk) 15:58, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
- What are you talking about? How is hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg "stealing the show for some photo opportunity" or "being cocky"? Yes they should ideally only feature them, do you happen to have a free image of this person or is that the only one available? If it is the only one a viable there is no use complaining about it, when the photo is at least of good quality. STATic message me! 06:29, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
- If you check all the discography of YG, there is not a single charting hit with Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg's to my mind totally unnecessary appearance is either profiteering from a photo opportunity (hey I'm in this one too...), or worse that YG is "dropping names" (you know I am associated with Snoop Dogg and I've got his endorsement... look at my photo with him..)" Either way you look at it, it doesn't seem right for Snoop Dogg or more importantly for YG as an artist in his own right. If this is the only picture of YG, I suggest cropping it to show only YG's face. I have never done cropping in my life and wouldn't even know how to proceed. Perhaps a more technically savvy guy can pitch in with some useful help in renderring it more representative of just YG. werldwayd (talk) 23:03, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
- Well, neither of them had any influence on the image's placement on this page, you are looking way to much into it. I have thought about cropping it for a long time though, might as well do it. STATic message me! 01:00, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

- Snoop Dogg is back to the infobox of YG and on YG discography with this. It is so refreshing to see Dogg in a photo opportunity turning into a near permanent unwelcome presence. Can't anybody come up with a picture on YG all alone? Or does YG still need "commercial endorsement" from a more famous "friend". How embarrassing. werldwayd (talk) 20:46, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

Include another subsection under "Other ventures" and title it "4Hunnid Ways" 4Hunnid Ways is YG's non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of disadvantaged youth and adults throughout the Compton Community and surrounding areas. His charity has been covered by TMZ and Bossip.

- Not done for now: To establish it's relevance, this needs better sources than the subject's social media pages and TMZ, which is questionable at best... RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 00:16, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Why isn't FDT included or mentioned in the article? It is one of his best known releases and is of historical significance. It has also repeatedly topped various popularity charts, remaining socially relevant for 4 years after its release. He has named one of his tours the "FDT Tour" so it is also relevant to his work generally. Additionally, FTP, a less popular and less historically important song, is mentioned on the YG page. I feel like it not being included nor written about on the main YG page is somewhat political and not objective.
