editIts a bit odd marking the significance of this song as an Iron maiden song (Up the irons by the way!). Skyhooks where a really really big band and this was a major hit for them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Duck Monster (talk • contribs) 07:14, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. Information about the Skyhooks version should be added, but none of their other singles are... so I assume one day someone will get around to it! Metalion SOS 01:26, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Done, the Skyhooks version now has a 1-sentence lead and the rest of the article is under a new "Iron Maiden version" section. The infobox is still the old Maiden version, possibly appropriate because it's got to be more popular (though I can't cite a source for that). The Skyhooks intro badly needs a few paragraphs of content at least. Tempshill (talk) 17:19, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
G'day
editHello fellow Maiden fans. Just saying that since I got into Wikipedia, which is only in the last few years, I've noticed a LOT of incorrect information, unfinished or half done information, grammatical & non-sequential information on these pages. With all serious due respect to the Original person/s who took the time consuming effort to write it in the first place, I've been slowly updating and "fixing" these issues. I have always used references for any of these issues that I may add and I don't as a rule change any of the write ups about the album/songs but I have added a line at the end just to reference the updated elements. This is not done out of some malicious self-important ego trip but out of a wish for people who read Wikipedia for a source of information to get the correct knowledge to start with, as unfortunately most of you would be aware of the bad rep it has as a source of information, even though I personally don't think its as bad as some people have said it is. Nor is it meant to be a "#$%@ you" to others who have written on them before me....

This article, despite the perfunctory nod to the Skyhooks original, reads like an article about Iron Maiden. It seems odd to devote so much more attention to a cover than to the original. Rdbenham (talk) 10:36, 2 September 2008 (UTC) |
