The following sentence was in the original article when I edited it today.
"The act effectively transfers 26,000,000 acres (11,000,000 ha) from the Western Shoshone to the United States federal government for $145 million in cash distributions to the roughly 8,000 Shoshone tribe members, approximately $5 an acre, or $30,000 per tribal member."
I read the act, and it doesn't say anything about land transfer and so on. I suspect that the judgements that the act satisfies do, but I haven't looked them up. Perhaps it would be good to add a section on the various judgements that the act satisfies. I think this sentence would be more appropriate there.
