I will get a picture of the door handle, last time I went to the Scandinavian furniture shop they didnt have any for some reason. Justinc11:52, 11 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Good to hear from you again. I hppe you succeed in finding the door handle. I am curious to see it. I see someone has written about MARS. I think I will work shortly on on Maxwell Fry and Jack & Molly Pritchard. Did you know there is no Wiki article on Scandinavian design, popular in the 1950s-60s? (sometimes also called 'Danish Modern') IKEA is an outgrowth of this style. Verne Equinox17:05, 11 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Funny I was just trying to find time to visit the Maxwell Fry building in London, Kensal House (see [1] and [2]. I am surprised about the Scandinavian design - I have a few items that I will take pictures of (I was brought up eating eggs from Danish melamine eggcups) but the whole architecture and design areas are weak. I find biographical details hard to find (eg Hidalgo Moya), but with some work at least you can find buildings. I added a couple mroe Isokon building photos to commons recently, and shall try to go to Brighton sometime soon. Justinc02:09, 12 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
I have altered the dates of Coates' education as verified by his original student card held in Queen Mary, University of London Archives. East London College became Queen Mary College, which then became Queen Mary, University of London. Lsthsp (talk) 11:20, 24 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
