"After nearly two more years of bankruptcy proceedings, O'Mallon was fired as general manager by a court-appointed trustee." Shouldn't "O'Mallon" be "O'Connor?" -- User:Popefelix

Yeah, I think I knew about that but forgot to fix it. It's easy to lose track of things when pages take several minutes to preview/reload (as has been the case lately). Changed now. User:Mulad (talk) 22:32, Jan 5, 2005 (UTC)

Creation of MST3K

edit

The article originally gave the impression that Mallon co-created MST3K with Hodgson. While Jim did contact Joel about a TV series, Hodgson is always attributed as the sole creator of the series. The article has been changed to reflect that. RevRaven 20:45, 30 September, 2005 (UTC)

Article name

edit

I have moved this article back to KMWB from KMWB-TV. Consensus on both WP:NC#Broadcasting and Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television_Stations#Article_names is that the article name should reflect the actual call letters of the TV station. As can be seen here: [1] the call letters for this station are in fact KMWB. Any concerns regarding this topic would be best addressed here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television_Stations. Sinclair and My Network TV

edit

Despite that Sinclair deal, it is highly unlikely that KMWB would get MyNetTV, as MyNetTV is owned by Fox, as is WFTC 29. It is far more likely that Fox would choose to make WFTC an O&O. If KMWB were to choose to not affiliate with The CW, it would likely become independent. (EmiOfBrie 17:46, 14 April 2006 (UTC))Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:KLGTV23.png

Image:KLGTV23.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:38, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Internet Page

edit

I noticed this article reference http://www.thecwtc.com/ for the home page, but a yahoo search comes up with http://www.wucw.tv/ . Both seem the same. I am not sure why, but I can guess the .com was first and the .tv was on the chosen after the .tv tier became available. Or, that one references the call letters while the other one references their tag. Should this article reference both? Lawrenceallie (talk) 20:24, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Minnesota State Lottery On The WB/23

edit

Channel 23 also broadcast the Minnesota State lottery during the WB years. Beloved local TV legend John Gallos (Clancy the Cop) and occasionally, his daughter Nancy did the majority of the voice work. There was a dedicated studio with the lottery machines and cameras in the Como studios for lottery only. This studio was heavily secured and locked, only accessable during the broadcast.
