Volcanic region
editI am trying to find out to which volcanic field/region the Volcano House cinder cone belongs. The nearest I have found is the Lavic Lake volcanic field, but the Global Volcanism Program entry suggests this is a little too far east and south.[1] Anyone have any information? Books to be consulted
editI don't have access to a library so my only sources have been online. I haven't been able to cite any books on architecture in which the house is featured. Any input would be grateful. Books which came up in google book searches which might have content on Volcano House include
- The Tale of Tomorrow: Utopian Architecture in the Modernist Realm, Robert Klanten, Sofia Borges (Architect), 2016
- Source Book of American Architecture: 500 Notable Buildings from the 10th Century to the Present, George Everard Kidder Smith, 1996
- Beyond the Cube: The Architecture of Space Frames and Polyhedra, Jean-François Gabriel, 1997
- Forgotten Modern: California Houses 1940-1970, Alan Hess, 2007
There must be many others.... Stronach (talk) 12:21, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
