I've put an NPOV tag on the page. Something should be done to give context to the sequence of events, especially as it relates to the policies of Tự Đức. Charles Matthews (talk) 13:08, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Does the tag need to stay? The page hasn't changed substantially since it was added, but I read over it, and I don't fail to see an issue of POV. Carl.bunderson (talk) 17:27, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Charles Matthews NPOV objection makes no sense to me. Tự Đức was emperor of Vietnam for less than four decades and this article covers many centuries. If the article covered the sequence of events for all 117 martyrs over four centuries, it would be disproportionately long. I recommend removing the NPOV tag. --JohnGHissong (talk) 17:38, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, that NPOV tag should now be removed. Same tags were also unappropriately (to my mind) placed to Roman Catholicism in Vietnam article.Ans-mo (talk) 07:41, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Chronological Errors
Now wait a minute! This article claims that Matthew Alonzo Lenziana and Francisco Gil de Fredrich de Sans arrived in 1580, yet the SQPN.com website claims that Lenziana was born on Nov. 26, 1702, and Gil was born on Dec. 14, 1702, and both died on Jan. 22, 1745! Could someone correct the errors, please? --Angeldeb82 (talk) 15:59, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
