Input
edit- This grows in Fairbanks, AK (and east of that in an arc, through Canada... The Boreal region. The bark contains antispasmodics that are good for menstrual cramps and contain other medicinal properties (but also it contains toxins, so we don't want to mislead readers to think its completely safe). The berries are sour and they have one flat, pear-shaped seed. There's not much meat inside them, mostly just liquid.
- the intro says it's both highbush cranberry and lowbush cranberry, but I've only seen it referred to as highbush. We have lowbush cranberry in Alaska too, but it's definitely not the same plant. Anyway, the problem is that lowbush cranberry and highbush cranberry are ambiguous terms. Xurtio (talk) 23:06, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
