Coffe grounds should be dried.

edit

Of course, there are a lot of possibilities to use coffee grounds better than litter them. But the coffee grounds with filter should be dry in order not to mould. I built an upcycling coffee filter dryer out of used wood. It dries the coffee grounds within 5 to 12 hours depending on the weather. The filter with grounds dries only with air without additional energy. The dryer hangs simply just above the coffee machine on a small nail. There will be no grounds lost by carrying them through the house. see here: https://gardenerspath.com/how-to/composting/composting-coffee-grounds/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.114.7.245 (talk) 18:16, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

My coffee grounds end up in a large compost bin. I WANT them to mould/rot/etc. I'll keep mine moist thanks. HiLo48 (talk) 02:08, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
