Is this statement in the article definitely correct? "Besides Springfield Park, Upper Clapton is delineated to the west by the long leafy strip of Clapton Common, distinguished by the reedy Clapton Pond (not to be confused with Clapton Ponds, two much smaller ex-reservoirs in Lower Clapton)". Almost nowhere I can find on the internet refers to Clapton Common's pond as Clapton Pond. Indeed, sources say it used to be called Leg of Mutton Pond and Craven Pond but that it is now basically nameless. Headlessness18:27, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
