University ratings
edit(I'm posting this to all articles on UK universities as so far discussion hasn't really taken off on Wikipedia:WikiProject Universities.)
There needs to be a broader convention about which university rankings to include in articles. Currently it seems most pages are listing primarily those that show the institution at its best (or worst in a few cases). See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Universities#University ratings. "Brighton College of Technology"
edit"Brighton College of Technology had grown out of the much older Brighton Technical College."
I suspect this is a misunderstanding.
Brighton College of Technology was indeed the name of the institution described in the article which became part of the Poly. Long after the Poly was in existence, Brighton Technical College changed its name to Brighton College of Technology (it is now City College Brighton and Hove).
So there have been two separate BCTs but I think only one BTC and it is not the Mousecoomb one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sussexonian (talk • contribs) 22:46, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
You are invited to the first Brighton Wiki Meetup which will take place at The West Quay, Brighton Marina Village, Brighton BN2 5UT on Sunday 28 April 2013 from 1.00 pm. If you have never been to one, this is an opportunity to meet other Wikipedians in an informal atmosphere for Wiki and non-Wiki related chat and for beer or food if you like. Experienced and new contributors are all welcome. This event is definitely not restricted just to discussion of Brighton topics. Bring your laptop if you like and use the free Wifi or just bring yourself. Even better, bring a friend! Click the link for full details. Looking forward to seeing you. Future of Hastings campus
editI was surprised not to see any reference to the continued downgrading and likely ending of the presence in Hastings. If anyone reads this who can update the section that would be great, if not I will try to come back here later and make some edits to bring the article more up to date. Might as well add while I think of it, there is massive, massive, absolutely huge, works going on at Moulsecoomb which also should be mentioned in the article. Sussexonian (talk) 15:41, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
