Ozark Story About Two-Seed-in-the-Spirit Baptists
editI'm not a subject matter expert, but I might put those who are onto a lead. In folklorist Vance Randolph's book, "Who Blowed Up the Church House," on p. 140 is a tale, "Two Seed in the Spirit," which may reflect how the hill people of Arkansas understood the doctrines of the church. Randolph's notes on p. 217 are interesting. He collected the story from Mrs. Ethel Barnes, of Hot Springs, Ark., in April, 1938. The tale involves some scandalous behavior on the part of the Two-Seeders. Tex (talk) 15:26, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
