Removing Headmaster's Welcome

edit

"Wikipedia is a multilingual, Web-based, free content encyclopedia project." At least that's what it is said on the Wikipedia:About. However, I don't believe it is a place for advertisement. If any moderators find that specific section to be unnecessary, please remove it.

"Canada's National School" -- Citation?

edit

I think citation is needed for "TCS has been called "Canada's National School", and is certainly among the most prestigious primarily-boarding secondary schools in the country." Who has called TCS Canada's National School? And who says it is among the most prestigious of boarding secondary schools in Canada? If there is no citation forthcoming, the sentence should be removed. Siksay 20:15, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

With no citation forthcoming, I will remove the sentence. 65.95.102.217 20:57, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Headmaster Entries

edit

It seems to me that this entry could add to it separate entries of the biographies of Headmasters of the school. Through the TCS Archives, you could provide pictures and information about the school as administrated under a specific Headmaster. This would make a fantastic history project for, say, a TCS student.

I put Headmasters of TCS into a table and broke it out into a new section. It seemed out of place just tacked on the end of the introduction. Hartman89 (talk) 17:00, 14 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Mud Pit not NPOV

edit

"This tradition is highly regarded and enjoyed by all at TCS as a fun, familiar rite of passage. " I removed this line as activities such as the "Mud Pit" can be viewed in the same category as hazing rituals. In any event, there is no way that one could establish that everyone (i.e. "all" find the event fun. Try finding a reliable source to esdtablish that!
