Is there any news of Tomas in the moment? My father was a veteran, paralysed, from WWII. He shot himself on April 20 2012. The problems and the needed help, recognition and support for veterans with physcical and psychic injuries and their family members is not acknowledged, unfortunatly. All violence and war should be stopped immidiately. -- 92.72.145.13 (talk) 08:12, 19 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I recently have read up on Tomas and have seen his story. He is a real American hero not because of his war experience but because of his speaking up for so many who are too weak too. People like Tomas are left behind by our government while the disgusting politicians and their corporate partners are given outrageous respect and benefits. Shame on America for not fighting the war that needs to be fought. We will not forget the scum like Bush and Cheney who have been given free passes and pay to go on their way after seeing to the deaths of so many Americans and innocent folks in other parts of the world. Shame. We will never forget. 101.51.140.140 (talk) 08:33, 20 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

I saw an article on snopes.com (with references) which stated that as of December 2013, he had decided not to end his life. I would ask that someone with more experience update this article. Thanks.Kurtreedk (talk) 00:14, 21 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
