A Google search of his name immediately led to the NY Times website, which yielded 379 articles by Tim Arango. In addition, he is the NY Time Baghdad bureau chief and is contributing to a permanent record of the events there via his published articles, a subset of the 379. Per WP:ANYBIO (and WP:CREATIVE) the notability criterion is met. Hence, the tag has been deleted.
