Notability/Advertisement
editThis page needs to be rewritten entirely. It appears to have been copied from a promotion done by the company ("...Yet here at THE VOID™..."). Any suggestions would be wonderful as I will attempt a rewrite once I have the time. Also, is the case important? I see it capitalized ("THE VOID"). Perhaps adding a "stylized as" bit would be appropriate. Me, Myself & I (☮) (talk) 02:33, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Notability concern on my end! Why is this project, as fascinating as it is, more important than numerous other VR projects probably not getting their own Wikipedia entry? Zuckerberg (talk) 21:28, 28 June 2016 (UTC)
- What similar other projects do you mean? --Tochni (talk) 16:23, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
This page was proposed for deletion by an editor in the past with the comment: Article appears to have been copied from a promotion done by the company, by an overly enthusiastic Wikipedian... It was contested by Kvng (talk · contribs) on 2016-07-06 with the comment: WP:TNT is not an uncontroversial delete reason. Significant coverage in cited reliable sources. Could not find a copyvio issue. |
- Yeah. I had actually re-written it entirely. ViperSnake151 Talk 17:05, 10 July 2016 (UTC)
Edit to bring part of the article more up to date
editWhile there have been numerous edits to bring the article up to date. I wanted to leave a note on the talk page as this is my first ever edit as a registered member of Wikipedia. I wanted to stick to something that was a relatively minor edit to simply update a small amount of information and get some experience with correctly using citations in an article. I'm not sure i'm entirely happy with my edit the way it is in the "History" section, other than I guess it applies to recent history as well. Also I am curious about what seems to be a new thing with citations with dual popup boxes appearing for them. I am curious about what part of the citation scripting causes this and if this is correct now or if there is something that should be left out of citations to remove the "2 box popup" thing when hovering over citations. Any input is appreciated. OldfeelingamI (talk) 22:27, 13 December 2019 (UTC)
