Warped reality

edit

Reality seems to be warping around them. I don't know what should be done about how to describe what is happening. On the one hand, trying to describe what is happening without attributing causes is problematic, but any attempt to nominate a cause is problematic as well. A wide variety of possible causes could be presented, but this sort of thing is not common for a encyclopedia article, but "glimpses of alternative realities" (a statement made in the show) isn't that common either.

I'm typing this as I'm watching it. Just saw the part where a reality wave turned a guy from a Nazi to an ordinary citizen.

I, too, am currently watching this so I don't know the answer to my question, but the article says "find out the truth and close the Triangle" - shouldn't there be an explanation as to what the truth is? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.230.200.126 (talk) 16:33, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bulgarian Anthem in a Nazi Scene

edit

This scene is what i will be talking about so please watch it carefully! In the second epizode (at the 38-th minute) there is a scene with nazi appearing from a parralel time (most likely in the past) where you may hear the Bulgarian national anthem as a background. This is intolerable throwing mud at the Bulgarians (especially when there is nothing bulgarian in that scene)! What would happen if the American national anthem sounds in a bulgarian film on a nazi scene ??? Would you, my darling Americans, like that and take it simple-hearted?

I agree. It's a complete disgrace. I'm a Bulgarian and although I do not admire my current government I am strong supporter of our cultural identity and background. Thus, I find these condemnfully and I think that the makers of this story should be punished by law!

Did you even watch the movie? That wasn't from the past, that was from an alternate reality, and those weren't the same swastika-bearing German nazis from WWII. I don't know, maybe in that alternate reality, Bulgarian fascists conquered the US. Master Deusoma 02:05, 21 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
But if you recall history lessons, during WW II Bulgaria did join the Axis countries.

Just because you're on the same side in a war though, that doesn't mean you share any beliefs. The USA wasn't communist, yet it was an ally of the USSR during WWII.
The issue with the Bulgarian anthem was also subject of "Masters of the (TV) Air". A journalist bought the DVD, watched it and called the Masters. Then, an investigation started and as I remember, the producers or someone else of the Triangle makers applogiesed officially. This should be included in the article's page.

Perhaps the people didnt want to, but the bottom line is, its gov opted to join the Nazi side. Do you think an avergae Slovak wanted Slovakia to be a Nazi country? Yet they invaded Poland in 1939. 24.36.16.231 (talk) 09:40, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Plot summary

edit

Is it really necessary to compare the plot of this miniseries with that of an episode of Star Trek TNG? Can not it be given a summary without making a reference to an TV episode that only Star Trek fans would know about? Can't we make The Triangle's plot summary stand on its own? --Destron Commander 07:38, 26 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

What's worse is that the summary for that episode is the exact same, citing back here. I think it was copy+pasted from one to the other.
Seriously, that's stupid. Can someone who's seen the series fix the summary? --68.0.145.210 02:36, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Summary Edit

Minor change made to the Sam Neil character blurb; he was still CEO at the end of the film; his brother was CFO under him- this is why Winston interviewed the group to keep them from wasting his older brother (the CEO)'s time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zarm Rkeeg (talkcontribs) 20:22, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
