what are the hard rules for adding sections ?
editi added a new section, controversies, based on many Wikipedia articles discussing crunch culture, including red dead redemption 2, why is not right to add it here ??? Pemajy (talk) 16:49, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- i checked Wikipedia "manual of style" nothing is mentioned there about how is it wrong to add the section, explain in details please Pemajy (talk) 17:00, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- if the problem is too much details, then just edit it to make it shorter, no problem Pemajy (talk) 17:03, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- But does it really need an entire section? Ludoyo (talk) 17:06, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- sure, look at red dead redemption 2 yourself Pemajy (talk) 17:08, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- it even have a "good article" badge Pemajy (talk) 17:11, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- After checking some related articles, i think your right, it doesn't need an entire section, thanks for your input Pemajy (talk) 17:37, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- sure, look at red dead redemption 2 yourself Pemajy (talk) 17:08, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- but if deleting all the work that took me 2 hours with one click is your solution, i will not accept that,, explain your reasons with references (I'm new to Wikipedia, i might have missed something, and i appreciate the help) Pemajy (talk) 17:07, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- It is a combination of WP:UNDUE and WP:CRIT. His statements did raise a few articles but nothing alluding to any massive controversy so a whole section devoted to it is inappropriate. We also don't need a full blow-by-blow, simply summarizing what happened (Glen S. made some states that implied crunch, there was some negative reaction to that, he apologized). That's two or three sentences at most. Masem (t) 17:15, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- ok, i'll check that, but why didn't you did that yourself ??
- is having too detailed wikipedia article worse than having too short srticle Pemajy (talk) 17:21, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks for the references Pemajy (talk) 17:31, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- So, is adding a summery in the "development" section is the correct way ??? Pemajy (talk) 17:32, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

Voice cast
edit@Masem: - I thought we are pretty strict on the "no cast list" guideline for video game articles. Is there a video game article that actually list the game's cast? I know Quantum Break has one but it is a different case because it is a TV-video game hybrid. I do not recall seeing any other articles that has a complete "voice cast" section, even if the game features an all-star cast. OceanHok (talk) 14:23, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
- i think you're right,, even uncharted and red dead redemption do not have them in a different section, and these two games have voice cast of high 'notability' statues, with arguably more media coverage Pemajy (talk) 05:58, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
