Promotional single?
editI think Tears is a promotional single for Coke Studio and Coca Cola and was also teased with a Coca Cola commercial. What are your thoughts on this? I highly doubt it is a single, although if it gains traction then it may become one. Edit: so I've changed it to promotional single as she is currently doing promotional content for Coca Cola and this single is most likely apart of that and is even confirmed in the IOL article. Please be sure to let me know why you think otherwise. This0k (talk) 06:13, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- When was it announced that it's promo? IOL clearly says that it's a single, That Grape Juice and your news365 (which is most likely unreliable) states that it's a single. Of courses, she's/they're gonna promote it through Coca-Cola since it's a Coke Studio partnership. dxneo (talk) 08:38, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- This source was released 8 minutes ago, still a single. By the way, news365 is definitely not reliable and that's beside the point. I'm just pointing it out so that you don't use it in the future. dxneo (talk) 08:43, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- A ballad would never be released as a single commercially and I don't think this will be issued to radio nor receive any significant attention. It is also promotional as she has done ads for it and most singles that are released commercially aren't released with ads. This is a Coke Studio original promotional single but I mean if you want to continue to call it a single I'm not gonna edit war over it. This0k (talk) 08:45, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Let's wait and see how more publications would describe it. Thank you. dxneo (talk) 08:53, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- See here at African Business source who has called the song's "exclusive" whereas even Coke Studio have said the song is apart of the project. This means it is most likely a promotional single but okay will wait for more publications to post to avoid original research and as said before I could be wrong. - Exclusive means promo? I did not know that. Anyway, recent sources including ECR, and new IOL called it a single. I actually think this one is actually different from "On and On", which was never really pushed. If I am convinced that it's actually a promo, I'll personally fix it, I promise. African Business source looks legit by the way.
- I think we should also discuss the structure of the articles since I plan on getting "Push 2 Start" to GA some time after the charts and the upcoming concert's live performances. Think I'm gonna need your help. The goal is to get "Art" to GA then move on to Good topic, but the tour might get merged and redirected to the album since there's not much to it and the singer is now focusing on some African tour. Any suggestions? dxneo (talk) 20:27, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Now we got Billboard. I think we can finally put it to rest now. dxneo (talk) 22:10, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
