Title

edit

@InfiniteNexus, Sir Magnus, Facu-el Millo, Natg 19, BD2412, Trailblazer101, TriiipleThreat, Jhenderson777, and Favre1fan93: I think this article title is too long, and the 'major' part could easily be removed, as not all the ones included in this article are major anyway, so the title would be 'Teams and organizations of the Marvel Cinematic Universe'. If anyone disagrees, I'm willing to start a WP:RM on it for more discussion. IronManCap (talk) 08:41, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Also pinging adamstom.97. IronManCap (talk) 08:41, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I agree, but I don't really have a good suggestion. I think the whole article is a bit dubious, especially since a lot of it seems to be unsourced. - adamstom97 (talk) 09:14, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

S.H.I.E.L.D.

edit

My revision done to truly reflect the status of S.H.I.E.L.D. as depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through the Marvel Television show, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. which ran for seven seasons on ABC Television for Marvel before the formation of Marvel Studios, and has story lines that run parallel all MCU films from Iron Man 3 to Infinity War. Those that keep deleting this information are under the false impression that the organization died in Winter Solder, but reappears in Age Of Ultron. Many fans of S.H.I.E.L.D., and there is a lot, feel that the organization continued after the Hydra Uprising in The Winter Solder and Season One, especially with the Whedon's still involved with the MCU with the blessing of Kevin Feige, which led to S.H.I.E.L.D. appearing in Age Of Ultron on Helicarrier 64.

The deletions of my revision speaks volumes on an editor who think that Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is not tied in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But there are tens and thousands of fans of the show that truly feel the show has a lot of importance in the story telling of the MCU, and plus all of the Disney+ shows have proven to borrowed many story lines previously used in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Those retro beginnings of WandaVision were previously done during Season Seven of AOS, the Darkhold and how it can turn a person crazy, that's Season Four. AOS were the first to battle the Kree (Season Five) before it was depicted in Captain Marvel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8000:8101:6c00:9471:d90b:9f6b:77c (talkcontribs)

Nobody is suggesting that Agents of SHIELD isn't canon to the MCU. We just place less focus on Marvel Television properties in these articles. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:37, 15 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Then I suggest that the part "along with the collapse of both S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra" be edited out, cos that suggest that S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't exist anymore, even though it still does, case in point, them showing up in Age Of Ultron and Pietro Maximoff ask Steve Rogers "So that's S.H.I.E.L.D.?". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shieldagentashleyhicks (talkcontribs) 03:43, July 16, 2021 (UTC)
But S.H.I.E.L.D. did collapse following the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It was only later secretly revived by Coulson and his team. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:18, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
We could just add a short sentence referring to that and be done with it. —El Millo (talk) 04:22, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Good idea.   Added. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:37, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Easter Egg in Ant-Man and Eternals

edit

To avoid an edit war, I would like to know how removing GRC in Eternals is different from keeping the Ten Rings in Ant-Man? Centcom08 (talk) 05:52, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

The GRC's name appeared on a billboard in Eternals. A member of the Ten Rings appeared in Ant-Man. InfiniteNexus (talk) 06:11, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Pym Van Dyne Foundation

edit

@Maxwell King123321: Instead of edit-warring, please discuss your proposed change here, per WP:BRD. As I've stated, the Pym Van Dyne Foundation is not notable to warrant a section here, as it was literally mentioned once and appeared for ~5 seconds in Quantumania. What we can do, however, is add a sentence to the existing § Pym Technologies section. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:44, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

@InfiniteNexus: Considering the foundation has received several articles and news websites on its reformation, would it not be worth creating a new sub-section? Cross Technologies works well as a sentence because Cross was taking over the company. While Hope is reforming/buying back the company. If not I am happy to rework it into a sentence at the end of the section. Maxwell King123321 00:49, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
This works for me. InfiniteNexus (talk) 15:51, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Illuminati?

edit

Shouldn't there be an addition of the Illuminati who appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? If yes, I'd be happy to introduce them to this page. MKsLifeInANutshell (talk) 05:48, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

My bad, I didn't see the 'Others' section. Suggestion withdrawn. MKsLifeInANutshell (talk) 05:50, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Proposal to clear "plot summary" flag.

edit

Based on information in "Summary-only descriptions of works." (WP:PLOT), I don't really think this page deserves the "plot summary" issue flag. Thoughts?

Should this be converted into a "LIST OF 'Teams and organizations...' " Armeym (talk) 01:26, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
