To anyone who expands this article in the future - Sunkist in Australia does not contain caffeine, possibly in other countries as well? --Windsok 16:37, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

There needs to be some discussion about the fact that they used to advertise it as containing real juice, and that now the can says "contains no juice". Was there a formulation change was the claim to contain juice a fraud? 2600:8800:A802:3600:7D7B:38F0:ED26:DCA5 (talk) 16:01, 24 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Solar/Citrus Fusion - Discontinued?

edit

Despite the flavors being listed as still in production in this article, I cannot find any information on Sunkist's website regarding Solar Fusion and Citrus Fusion, nor can I find any place (online or offline) to purchase these flavors. I can only assume they have gone out of production since 2010. Can anybody verify this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.102.204.252 (talk) 05:10, 19 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Trivia

edit

According to rapper Young Buck, this was 2Pac's favorite drink. Should we add it? Info: http://www.xxlmag.com/online/?p=13734

probably not as you'd first have to explain who young buck and 2pac are. it's my favorite too, but don't think that that is noteworthy either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.158.61.141 (talk) 18:31, 22 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Could also add that Keith Richards drinks it with vodka calling it a Nuclear Waste. Its a 50/50 mix. 82.10.84.3 (talk) 12:36, 10 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Spelling

edit

Maybe it should be pointed out that it is not called 'sinkist' :p (my friend tried to convince me it was called that). Look at the spelling on the can!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 58.104.171.167 (talk) 11:21, August 23, 2007 (UTC)

Existance

edit

Sunkist products must exist longer than since the late 1970s. I remember drinking Sunkist juices back in the 1960s (and by the way, in German commercials the product name, while written Sunkist, is mispronounced "Soonkist"). --Maxl 13:27, 20 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

where to get specific flavors

edit

I have only seen Pineapple sunkist once in my life. It is my favorite soda of all time bar none. however I only saw it when I was in Bermuda. I have heard it is available in Texas and Florida and possibly Hawaii, however I have yet to find it in those states.

I have only seen Strawberry, Fruit Punch and Peach in Florida and that was very recently. Does anyone have some kind of key that would tell us what flavors are available where?

Cola?!

edit

2 Sunkist Cola cans, American (left) and Chinese (right)

I changed this to:

2 Sunkist Soda cans, American (left) and Chinese (right)

...mainly because I'm sure there's no Sunkist brand cola drink and that the cans shown in the picture are the orange soda cans. --75.16.74.112 05:06, 26 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sweeteners

edit

For a while, Diet Sunkist Orange used Splenda (sucralose) in the USA but has recently switched back to aspartame. The last box I bought had the Splenda logo on the box but not the cans- which listed aspartame in the ingredients.

Sun-kissed ?

edit

The name appears to be an allegory for the phrase "sun-kissed", which would certainly apply at least to the orange groves for which this soft drink is named. Is there any background info available about the name? DMahalko (talk) 21:25, 28 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
