Well, ok, the article was kept, so I've done some trimming. Pardon my original research, but having attended hundreds of shows here and played a dozen or so myself, I never heard of this "Jam" guy who booked there. For much of the bars heyday a guy named Dan McCabe did the booking, although various other put together a lot of the shows and brought them to him. Maybe this other guy was before my time, I was still in school in 1986, but I have seen no mention of him in the sources so his name has been removed. It's probably not particularly relevant to mention the booking agent, but I did actually find Dan's name in one source I found which was not used because it was pretty trivial coverage. I also severly chopped the ridiculously long list of bands, not because I doubt it, I was at some of those shows, but because it was so cumbersome. I was not particular in doing this, I just chopped it off. If anyone wants to go through and pick and choose which bands to mention be my guest. It would be good if there were sources for claims like Nirvana playing there, if they did it must have been waaaay before they "broke". On the other hand, I doubt anyne would challenge the claim that bands like Babe the Blue Ox played there. I know I wouldn't, it was a great show. Beeblebrox (talk) 03:19, 23 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
