New German brigade for Lithuania
editde:PanzerBrigade 42 will draw on PzBn 203 from Augustdorf, and PG Bn 122. Command elements will start moving 2Q/2024, and a staff to establish the brigade 4Q/2024. German official press release.[1] Buckshot06 (talk) 09:20, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
- The info is in the article since 18 November 2023. What is not yet known is under which higher command the Panzerbrigade 42 will fall, respectively in what locations the two battalions will be based. Once the brigade is activated and those two bits of info are announced, I will update the graphic to include the new brigade. noclador (talk) 11:22, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
- But because there is no brigade HQ to add to the listings, and most importantly
- there was no explanatory note at the top I completely missed it. These articles **live** because they have changes and explanations at the top - see Isby and Kamps.
- Finally, there was no reference.
- See what I do here at the top: to allow these articles to be useful not just for experts like us, but for "we write for generalists, not specialists" each new major change should be accompanied by a textual note. Buckshot06 (talk) 20:27, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
- Now, original research: PzBrig 42 will be an additional brigade of Multinational Division Northeast. Is that not completely obvious from looking at the existing structure? Buckshot06 (talk) 20:29, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
