For a limited time in the late 1980s or early 1990s there was a non-stop service between Gillingham and Maidstone. Trains from Gillingham would reverse at Strood station and be routed onto the Medway Valley line, and vice versa. Unfortunately I don't have any details as to the dates of operation. Anyone?
